One of the biggest and best digital marketing events in Australia makes its return to Perth next week after being postponed mid-year due to COVID-19 restrictions.

State Of Social’s 2020 event, THINK, will take over Optus Stadium on November 24-25, hosting a variety of business and digital marketing leaders to examine, rethink, and redefine best practices for digital and social media in 2021 and beyond.

Event organiser Meg Coffey said following such an unprecedented year, the current state of social is more important than ever: “The digital merry-go-round is a real thing and many of us forget to jump off, stop, think, evaluate what’s working and what isn’t. Then imagine and create new, exciting, out of the box ideas to tell a brand story…

“COVID made us stop, the merry-go-round no longer worked, and start to think again. After such a huge shift, I’m more excited than ever to bring the best minds together for Australia’s digital brainstorm of the year.”

The event will cater to intrastate travellers unable to attend through livestreaming and video technology, which will also be used to host international speakers like Tom Goodwin, Matthew Kobach, Jen Herman and recently-announced additions, Lauren Quaintance, Georgia Rickard and Lauren Bath.

A State Of Social event wouldn’t be the same without the puppies from The Dog’s Refuge Home, who’ll be return for the beloved Barkout Session, alongside bottomless barista coffees.
