Who doesn’t love a good drive out to Guildford on the weekend?
Whether it’s browsing the awesome antique stores, nestling into some cosy cafes or copping some high quality pub grub from the Guildford Hotel, it’s got it all.
And now it’s going to have even a little bit more with the launch of Sunday Common, a Sunday picnic in Guildford’s iconic Kings Meadow polo grounds brought to you by the same folks behind the Scarborough Sunset Markets.
City folk from far and wide are invited to come down every Sunday from October 25 until April next year to stretch your legs, graze some of Perth’s finest food vendors and indulge in a Pampelle Spritz at the Pampelle Bar (that’s right, it’s a licensed venue).
In addition to great food and drinks, there’ll be polo scratch matches and other equine activities to engage with, along with your own games to play thanks to their expansive Games Library, featuring bocce, croquet and more.
So if you’re planning on a Sunday browsing the antique stores or tackling a heritage trail, why not fuel up, or cool down, at the Sunday Common, where you can expect over 20 food vendors, cheese makers and charcuterie sellers.
Think dumplings, pizza, gnocchi, crepes Greek donuts and more, along with a curated selection of beer, wine and spritzes.
