The WA Labour Day long weekend is one of Perth’s favourite long weekends – the weather’s still warm and you kinda still feel like you’re on holidays, clinging onto summer wanting to never let it go.

And while there’s obviously plenty to do all over the state, one institution that’s become a must-do for those staying at home is the annual Hyde Park Fair, taking over the much-loved inner city greenspace once again this Sunday 1 and Monday 2 March.
Taking over the full grounds on the corner of Vincent and William Street, it’s basically a free two-day festival with something for literally everyone.
Hundreds of stalls line the water’s edge, along with an epic Kids Fun Zone, camel rides, fashion shows, arts and crafts and of course – food, with the Foodie Delights Arena hosting some of Perth’s finest pop-ups and food trucks.
The event will be soundtracked with a variety of different acts taking over the Hyde Park amphitheatre stage, to go with kid-friendly dance troupes like the Peter Rabit Kids Disco.
The festivities kick off from 10am both days, and with over 200 stallholders (seriously, check ‘em all out HERE) to peruse along with all the entertainment, we reckon you’re gonna need both days to properly get amongst it.
