Warm Up Those Vocal Chords, The Newport Hotel Has 3 New Karaoke Rooms
Fremantle favourite the Newport Hotel might have to think about a name change soon, as the historic Freo pub has transformed its former hotel rooms into private karaoke booths.
The three new rooms all vary in size, catered to suit all kinds of groups and occasions. Even better – there are no room hire fees and no minimum spends.
Two of the rooms range from 15-30 guests, while the largest private room (Two Sparrows), spans the entire top floor of the hotel and can cater for parties up to 100 people.
Each room has a “virtual beverage host” – just plug in what you want and staff will deliver it straight to the room, while Two Sparrows has its own bar/bartender for the duration of your event (did somebody say fishbowl cocktails?).

If you’re looking for a function space sans-karaoke, the retro-tropical Tiki Beat Bar accommodates up to 70 guests.
We reckon “The Newport Karaoke Bar” definitely has a nice, drunkenly sung ring to it.
