There’s an Indoor Plant Festival Happening in Perth This Weekend
Perth’s first festival dedicated to the indoor plants is coming to Perth City Farm this weekend!
The Perth Indoor Jungle Festival will be bringing small local plant sellers with expert knowledge together with enthusiastic plant lovers. Attendees can get help choosing the right plants and attend talks to learn how best to care for them.
Spread over two days the festival will include:
- Workshops and activity stations to create things like
terrariums, mini water gardens, macramé pot hangers & upcycled
pots - Talks & demonstrations from indoor plant experts on topics like
propagation, pest control and growing in water - Community plant and cutting swap
- Stalls selling a beautiful range of plants and plant accessories
- Delicious food and drinks
- Musical entertainment
The event raises money for Perth City Farm, a community environmental centre in East Perth, celebrating its 25th anniversary in 2019. This event is part of City Farm’s work to foster community connection and sustainable living in Perth.
