The Tension Gang Are Getting Back Together For A Huge Night Of Laughs At The Up In Joke Tour

The creator of beloved surf films the ‘Tension’ series, Chris White, and his Grin Reapers Podcast comedian co-host Brian Shields at throwing a theatre show the likes of which Perth has never seen this August!

The Up In Joke Tour will be a night of stand up comedy, music performances, special celebrity guests and of course, Tension throwbacks, taking over The Regal Theatre in Subiaco on Friday 27 August.

Fans of that iconic series can expect a heap of new surf and bodyboarding footage, pranks, sketch comedy videos along with a reunion of some of their favourite riders and much more.

The event, which is a collaboration with another popular West Australia-produced podcast The Hard Yarns, will also feature standup comedy from the likes of Andrew Wolfe, Jon Pinder, Daniel Delby (pictured, below), and more, plus DJ Aslan on the decks.

The Grin Reapers podcast started out as a little passion project for White and Shields, and has since turned into one of Australia’s most popular – regularly floating in the Top 10 alongside the likes of Joe Rogan and Hamish & Andy.

Concurrently Chris White has become a regular feature on Australian Ninja Warrior, egged on by good mate Kelly Slater in the most recent seasons.
