Built and choreographed entirely in West Australia, the West Australian Ballet’s thrilling reimagining of Dracula premiered at His Majesty’s Theatre in 2018 to blood-curdling success, breaking all box office records and grossing nearly $1 million at the box office during its sell-out run.

After resting in his coffin over 2019, Dracula returned last year for a very limited run that continued to wow audiences with a sexy, provocative and intense production courtesy of choreographer Krzysztof Pastor (one of Europe’s best five choreographers).

And now Dracula is back in full ghoulish flight and headed to Crown Theatre for eight hair-raising shows of neo-classical ballet, taking cues and music from Francis Ford Coppola’s classic 1992 take on the tale, ‘Bram Stoker’s Dracula’, starring Gary Oldman and Winona Ryder.

You’ll follow Dracula as he attempts to reunite with long lost love Mina, damning a plethora of souls around her in a reign of terror and seduction, set amidst ominous, gothic sets filled with rich, detailed costumes.

This neo-classical style of ballet allows for theatrical and modern techniques throughout the show, one that is recommended for audiences over 15 on account of intimate scenes and some nudity.

The season runs from August 19-24, and we suggest you GET BOOKING NOW lest your soul be damned for eternity!
