We’ve made it no secret that we’re pretty excited for spooky season this and every year!

We’ve already rounded up Perth’s haunted places and urban legends… and now we’ve got you covered with a huge list of spooky events happening throughout October, including halloween themed markets, halloween parties, a gym halloween special and more.

Fright Fortnight @ Rooftop Movies (Oct 19-Nov 3)

Rooftop Movies is going all in on Spooky Season with a huge two week Fright Fortnight program, with a huge selection of new scary stories and all faves including Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Hocus Pocus, The Shining, Jennifer’s Body and more. If you’re really looking to party on Friday 1 November get along to a special screening of The Rocky Horror Picture Show – with DJs spinning before and after.

Day of the Dead @ La Cholita (Oct 28-Nov 3)

At La Cholita, the Day of the Dead festivities run over five days, and include a special featured cocktail, Un Poco Loco – a bold and refreshing blend of mezcal, blanco tequila, pomegranate juice, agave, lime, and a dash of orange bitters.

Club Club Launch @ The Court (Oct 31)

Club Club is celebrating the launch of their long awaited nightclub directory/discount app, helping users discover more nightclubs and claim exclusive discounts at them. They’re luaunching with a very spooky first party, with a Black Halloween dress code – more info/tickets here.

Kooky Creatures Halloween Party @ AQWA (Oct 31)

AQWA’s famous Kooky Creatures Party is back for some family-friendly and freaky festivities from 5:30pm for this special aquarium by night event. Visitors will encounter an eerie underwater world with some of the slimiest and strangest marine creatures of the deep while enjoying a fun night of tricks and treats along the way. Day of the Dead at La Condesa (Oct 31-Nov 2)

La Condesa celebrates Día de los Muertos with a three-day feast to honouring the traditional Mexican festival. Guests can enjoy a “Peachy and Spooky” cocktail – a vibrant mix of reposado tequila, Aperol, lime, strawberry, and peach and a special beef chorizo taco, served with chimichurri, onion, and fresh coriander in a crispy squid ink taco shell.

Haunted House @ Lawson Flats

Lawson Flats are throwing a scarily massive Halloween party and you are on the grisly guest list! The sartorial vibe is spooky so come dressed in your most treacherous threads (spot prizes for the best costumes), as they cloak the whole place in fantastical tricks and treats that will unleash an unforgettable night [mare]. Horror Lovers’ Trivia @ The Moon (Nov 4)

For one frightful night, The Moon invites you to gather under the cloak of darkness at Perth’s most iconic late-night haunt for a terrifying horror lover’s quiz.
