THURSDAY 24 JUNE
Hypno Hale’s BONKERS!
After winning a Fringe World award, rave reviews and a whole load of laughter inducing silliness, hypnotist Matt Hale’s sell out show BONKERS! was hit by lockdown and reduced capacities, leaving thousands of people with refunded tickets, and missing out on experiencing the fun of Bonkers. Finally, Matt is returning to Perth for 5 nights only, to finish what he started back in January. Using seemingly magical powers Matt hypnotises his volunteers to unlock the incredible ability of their mind. Using the power of suggestion, audience members will be transported into BONKERS situations where they will release talents and creativity, they never knew they had. More info HERE.
FRIDAY 25 JUNE
Chicken & Beer Festival
It’s here, rain, hail or shine! After a couple of false starts on account of snap lockdowns and shocking weather, the inaugural Chicken & Beer Festival has finally arrived in its new cosy surrounds of Robinson Pavilion ALL weekend, from Friday 25-Sunday 27 June. There’ll be heaps of excellent food vendors slinging crunchy chicken flavours, along with a host of great local breweries, buskers, carnival rides, AFL games on the big screen and more. There’s a few sessions over the course of the weekend, pick one for you and the gang via THIS LINK.
Truffle Kerfuffle
Nestled quaintly amongst the mighty jarrah and karri forests down near Margaret River you’ll find Manjiump, WA’s truffle heaven and home to the beloved Truffle Kerfuffle festival. A weekend of earthly delights, there’ll be long table dinners, bespoke brunches, fireside feasts, free cooking demonstrations, masterclasses with globally-renowned chefs, wine tastings and of course, freshly unearthed truffles. Read on below for a few highlight events you can still grab tickets to, and head to the Truffle Kerfuffle WEBSITE to book now.
Trash Classics: Road House
Starting on June 25th, six Friday nights will see a cult classic return to the big screen – with titles ranging from “so bad it’s good” to “how did this get made?”. First up, Road House – Patrick Swayze as a bouncer in a movie that contains more mullets per minute than any other. Feel free to liberate yourself of any shirt as we take a look at how opposing forces combine to make the ‘House a work of action art. More info HERE.
Rushmore feat. Young Franco

SATURDAY 26 JUNE
Pop-Up Artist Alley, Perth City Market
Following a last-minute cancellation for Perth’s Supanova (scheduled for this coming weekend), a few keen beans have decided to make the best of a bad situation. Cosplay is still encouraged and entry is free, you can find the Perth City Market across the mall from City Beach in the city. More info HERE.
