2 Day “Intro to Sign Painting” Workshop with Letterboy

In this 2 day workshop you will get an introduction to the basics of hand lettering, brush lettering and sign painting. We will go through everything that you need to know to start practicing painting letters with a brush and also specific lettering styles such as block, casual, script and more. We will also cover how to transfer your design sketch onto different surfaces and other techniques.

Day 1: Brush techniques and care. Building up a brush control while learning block style lettering.
Day 2: The different processes of sign painting. Learn other styles such as “Casual” & “Script”
Included: All the materials needed on the day, brushes, paint, rulers etc. (And you can bring them home after the workshop!)lunch, coffee, tea and snacks.
What to bring:Wear something that you are not afraid of getting dirty. We will be using acrylic paint so there is risk of getting paint on your clothes. Aprons can be handy as well.

This workshop is suitable for both beginners and those who want to improve their existing brush and lettering skills.
