Birth of the Endless Summer – WA Premiere – Ocean Heroes Fundraiser

WA kids charity Ocean Heroes is hosting the WA premiere of Birth of The Endless Summer, a documentary that follows Californian surf pioneer, Dick Metz, now 90 years old, as he retraces the steps of his vagabonding around the globe in the late 1950s that led to his discovery of “the perfect wave” at Cape St. Francis, that paved the way for one of the most beloved and watched documentaries of all time, Bruce Brown’s The Endless Summer (“A perfect movie,” -The New Yorker) to become a reality.

There’s an opportunity to win some fantastic prizes throughout the night. All proceeds from the night go towards providing free surfing experiences for WA kids on the autism spectrum.
