Cal Silberstein is obsessed with stories.

He has been telling them for as long as he can remember. He loves stories of all kinds, though these days he doesn't seem to be able to kick a persistent Musical Theatre habit. Join Cal for a songbook-spanning cabaret of sorts, as he waxes lyrical (literally) on the debatable rewards of family, his years-long journey of looking for Kafei, the cognitive dissonance of moving to America, the seductive malaise of seasonal depression and of course, The Great Emu War of 1932.

"Cleverly written lyrics are delivered clearly throughout..." – ArtsHub

"Effortless tenor passages and strong acting that evoked plenty of empathy..." – Theatre Travels

“Either the smartest dumb thing, or the dumbest smart thing I’ve ever seen.” – Workshop Actor

"Shows a deep understanding of music and emotion..." – Weekend Notes

“An absolute treat from an intelligent talent. The journey through Cal’s songbook was testimony to his thoughtful, funny, relevant work. Another Western Australian legend in the making.” – Fringefeed
