Central Park Plunge for Cahoots

Cahoots is taking part in Australia’s largest urban charity abseil for another year in a row to raise much needed funds for WA families who have a child with a disability – and you are invited to get involved!

You can take the abseil yourself or simply help us raise funds by making a donation to support one of our families. For over 40 years, Cahoots has been making a positive impact to the lives of children and young people living with disability through inclusive camps and programs to grow their independence.

Join us on 26 October 2024 to abseil, fundraise or support! Whether you are a parent, carer, student, celebrity or just your average Joe you can get involved to make a difference – or even get your workplace involved!

~ What is the Central Park Plunge? ~
The Central Park Plunge a charity fundraising event, where participants abseil 130 metres down the Central Park Tower on St Georges Terrace in Perth and help raise $350,000 for the Perth Charities. The Central Park Plunge has raised in excess of $4.2 million in 8 years! This year we are back again, and aiming high to hit our $350,000 target.

~ How does The Plunge work? ~
In 2024 there will be 4 descent ropes making teams of 4 participants ideal to “take the plunge”. Participants can select the charity they wish to be the recipient of their fundraising.

~ How high is the Central Park Plunge? ~
The Central Park Plunge sees participants abseil 130 meters or 33 floors down the Central Park Tower on St George’s Terrace in Perth.

~ Does it cost anything to sign up? ~
Yes. It’s just a $100 sign up fee.

~ How much do I fundraise? ~
We hope that each participant raises $1100, ultimately fundraising over $350,000 for the Perth Charities. The Central Park Plunge has raised a whopping $3,868,000+ in 8 years! This year we are back again, and aiming high to hit our $350,000 target.

~ When is the Central Park Plunge in 2024? ~
This year, Cahoots will be hosting the Plunge on October 26 2024.
