City of Canning's New Year's Day Concert and Fireworks 2025

Shelley Beach Foreshore will come to life to celebrate the beginning of 2025 on Wednesday 1 January.

Set against the stunning backdrop of the Canning River and overlooking the impressive City skyline, the Shelley Foreshore will be host to a family friendly afternoon of big entertainment, big performances and big smiles. So, make sure this is firmly circled on the kitchen calendar!

The free to enter event will commence at 3.30pm with lots of activities to keep the whole family entertained including fantastic live music, inflatables, face painting, crafts and much more! The fireworks show will conclude the evening with the display running for 15 minutes from 8–8.15pm.

Community members can bring a rug and picnic, there will also be food trucks featuring a diverse range of cuisines, with food and refreshments available for purchase. There will be free onsite parking however as parking is limited, people are encouraged to carpool or take public transport, or walk or ride a bike where possible.
