Cultural Yarns on Wadjemup
Connect with Aboriginal culture through informal conversations and food in a safe and respectful space.
This February (10th and 17th), you’re invited to take part in a Cultural Yarn, where male emerging Aboriginal leaders and presenters come together to share unique stories, exchange knowledge passed down through generations, and engage with the rich cultural heritage and connection that Aboriginal people have to Country.
In the tradition of the centuries-old tradition of a yarning circle, this is an opportunity to connect with Aboriginal culture through informal conversations and food in a safe and respectful space.
This event is free to attend but registration is required due to limited capacity. Travel to Rottnest Island / Wadjemup is not included. Please ensure you register all members of your group, including adults and children. Note that children must be accompanied by an adult and supervised at all times throughout the event.
For both sessions, participants of all genders and ages are welcome but parental guidance is encouraged for young audiences.
