Join us in Nedlands to explore a new family home by national architectural practice, Ewert Leaf. It’s the first house in Western Australia to be built almost entirely out of cross-laminated timber – framed up in less than a weekend, it is certified German Passivhaus. Don’t know what that means? Together we will find out in a conversation with the homeowner / architect.

We’ll see how sustainability and beauty work together in this environmentally responsive dwelling. Three stories high, it covers just 35% of the block and is comfortable without air conditioning or heating.
