<p>In this beginner-friendly workshop, artist Micca Young will walk participants through the process of how she comes up with an engaging visual concept, and guide them through the process of creating the preliminary layers required to make a successful surrealist painting. Participants will receive paints, a primed wooden panel, brushes, and leave with a successful completed oil painting.</p>

<p>Micca Young is a Perth-based, self-taught artist specialising in surrealist oil painting dreamscapes and digital drawings where she turns her thoughts and feelings into conceptual illustrations. Micca is a rising star in the Perth art scene, and sells her merchandise at local markets and on her website at <a href="http://www.miccamoo.com/">www.miccamoo.com</a>.</p>
