RSWA’s first Symposium for 2024 will showcase current WA science and research that can lead to future WA technology, jobs and workforces & industry diversification.

Building on our state’s unique advantages – it is an opportunity to hear first-hand about research being done right here in WA that could lead to exciting futures for Western Australians.

This one-day event will focus on space / radio astronomy, super / quantum computing and the future opportunities offered by WA’s unique flora & landscape – and finish with a look at the value of gender balance in who our future WA scientists and researchers will be, particularly girls taking science in schools. It is free for current and new RSWA Members, and includes lunch and morning and afternoon tea.

RSWA is WA’s premier science and research society, and holds symposiums for the public and science community to hear from and meet prominent WA scientists and the work they are doing. www.rswa.org.au

Our hosts CERI, the Centre for Entrepreneurial Research and Innovation, at 22 Stirling Highway Nedlands, will allow a look at their facilities, as a leading hub of innovation in Western Australia, creating a more sustainable future.
