Her Voice Resounds — Concert 1: Hear Me, Hear My Name

Warm up your winter weekend with Mirabilis Collective’s Hear Me, Hear My Name.

This Sunday afternoon concert is a celebration of music written or inspired by women named Emily, and includes works by Indigo Girls, Emelie Mayer, Emily Wurramara and Kate Bush. The performance will feature a new commissioned piece by WA composer Emily Gelineau.

Mirabilis Collective is a unique ensemble bringing together women musicians from different generations. We showcase a diverse repertoire, featuring both classical and contemporary works, all created by women composers. Our mission goes beyond performance as we actively commission new pieces from female composers and songwriters. This collaboration not only fosters emerging talent, but also celebrates the myriad contributions of women to music.
