How To Survive A Zombie Apocalypse
ARENA Theatre’s comedy production of HOW TO SURVIVE A ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE comes to a host Perth venues this April! This show is presented in the style of a seminar, with the audience being led through a series of exercises and demonstrations by members of the School of Survival (S.O.S.). They will experience such things as: What Is A Zombie?, How To Pick Your Survival Team, How To Fight A Zombie, Counselling Techniques, and Choosing Your Weapon. It answers the ultimate question of who is better to defeat a zombie – a Pirate or a Giraffe? And does it really only take such things as a few kitchen utensils, an exotic animal, posing as the Bee Gees, dancing like the Village People, a mimed axe and some cheese sandwiches?
There is a lot of audience interaction in this production, as the cast eliminate people one by one until we are left with only those who would truly SURVIVE A ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE! Lots of laughs, lots of fun! The cast and crew for the show come from all corners of the metro area, and beyond, from such places as the Perth CBD, Midland, Wilson, Cannington, Armadale, Darling Downs, Roleystone and even Pinjarra. ARENA Theatre Productions was created by Simon James, who has had over thirty years experience producing Theatre For Schools plays, Community Theatre performances and Skills Workshops. He says, “Picking this play to do was a no-brainer. It’s energetic, absurb, rather silly on occasion, but always very funny. And in these strange days we live in, everyone could do with a laugh.”
