Get An Exclusive BTS Look At Ice Cream Factory’s Wild New 11m-High Zipline
It seems like every year the Ice Cream Factory Summer Festival gets crazier and crazier in scope. Whether it’s the size of the acts they bring over, or the insane amount of activations they fit into their home on the corner of Lake and Roe St in Northbridge, it’s a crazy funhouse with something for everyone.
All that said, they may have just topped themselves with their incoming 2019 season with the addition of an 11m high, 50m long zipline soaring over the main outdoor stage’s dancefloor.
The four-level structure includes the ORGANICS by Red Bull Rooftop Bar with a DJ spinning tunes halfway along the ride, and the zipline itself terminating alongside their brand new rave cave, the Tune Tunnel.
Whilst lining in style, you’ll catch splendid views of their bountiful activations, including a new European-infused alfresco wine deck; VIP viewing deck; The Corner Del; Gordon’s Pink Gin ‘Pink Room’; Pirate Life Parlour (feat. Live tattooing from renowned artist Martyn Hester); a new Japanese bar/dining experience called Koyomi Izakaya; the Factory Stage and scoops more.
And we haven’t even got to the soundtrack, which we’ll be provided by a host of local legends along with huge international and national acts like Bag Raiders, Claptone, Girl Talk, Hook N Sling, Miami Horror, The Jungle Giants, Robert Delong, Tube & Berger and more.
