Into the Blue: Sam Forster Sextet

Sam Forster is a guitarist, singer and composer from Perth. He performs frequently around Perth with WAYJO, Adam Hall and the Velvet Playboys and his own trio, Outpost. Sam’s music takes inspiration from jazz guitar greats such as Wes Montgomery and Jim Hall with a modern spin, which results in deep grooves, singable melodies and complex chord progressions, while maintaining a deep connection to the blues. The night will feature many of Sam’s latest compositions as well as his take on classic jazz standards. Come along for an evening of swinging jazz that’s not to be missed!
