<p>Join us for an intercontinental whiskey-tasting adventure! We can’t travel yet, but Australia takes on Ireland in an international whiskey challenge here at home! From Carlow to Albany, Melbourne to Dublin, Tullamore to East Perth, we are gathering some cracking drams for you to taste. Whiskey and food writer Seáneen Sullivan will be joined by the most innovative distillers of each nation so you will be learning the secrets of the whiskeys direct from the source.</p>
<p>Due to travel restrictions, the Irish distillers will be dialing in live from the Emerald Isle, while the Australian distillers will be there in person. Despite being on home soil, the Aussies don’t necessarily have the advantage, as the event is being held in the Irish Club of WA, giving both countries equal footing in the showdown! There are some incredible whiskeys in the lineup, including a multi-award winning bottle from Limeburners, that is one of only 261 bottles available worldwide, and a 17 year old whiskey from Ireland not yet released to the public!</p>
<p>This is a tasting of six whiskeys (3 Australian, 3 Irish) and is suitable for novices and aficionados alike.</p>
