MELVILLE OPEN STUDIOS 2022

The City of Melville is hosting its fourth Melville Open Studios, as 90 of Perth’s favourite artists throw open their studio doors to the wider community and local art lovers in a celebration of art across the Mother’s Day weekend. With countless artists and creatives residing and working within the City of Melville, the weekend is the perfect opportunity to immerse the community in an aesthetic experience where they can observe how an artist’s studio and artistic practice intersect, gain an invaluable insight into the creative process and purchase works all in the same weekend.

This year will see an impressive selection of local creatives open their spaces for the weekend including mixed media artists Cha Higginson and Jennifer Gaye who have worked closely with the community to curate a trail that is brimming with artistic experiences. Other creatives including renowned ceramic artist Sally Smith, visual artist and educator Luke Morgan and award-winning visual artist Rachelle Dusting will join the cohort of creatives along with members from local arts groups.
