Moses Tan: Open Studio & Photo Booth
Bring your favourite houseplant to PICA and participate in Singaporean-based artist Moses Tan’s houseplant photo booth.
Learn more about Tan’s interest in botany, sculpture and queer community-building as he discusses his practice with queer academic and activist Duc Dau. As part of PICA’s Asia Pacific Exchange Program, get a sneak peek at Tan’s new experimental, work-in-progress sculpture series inspired by various botanical and bodily forms. His experiments consider how everyday objects like houseplants are objects of care and consideration.
Event Notes:
You are encouraged to bring along your favourite plant to have your photo taken. Photography is on a first-come, first-served basis. Please note that by participating in the photo booth, you are consenting to share your image with the artist and PICA for future reproduction and publication.
