THE PLAY IS: MOTHER AND SON! It centres on Maggie who is now a little bit more forgetful and her son Arthur who moves in with her for a short time when his father dies, but then just never leaves. A Play written by Geoffrey Atherden. Based on the fabulous 1980s ABC Television show. However the play has been adapted to suit the audiences and lifestyles of those living 2024. An amateur play with licence by arrangement with Geoffrey Atherden and David Spicer Productions.

ABOUT ROCKINGHAM THEATRE
We have a bar open one hour before the show.
We encourage you to order your interval drinks so that they’re ready for you at half time and we are open for a short while after the play so you can mingle with the cast.
Drinks, Alcohol, Chocolates and Chips are for sale at very reasonable prices.
All your purchases can be taken into the auditorium during the production.
We also have a canteen that sells coffee, tea and biscuits.
Our Front of House volunteers are also selling raffle tickets so if you’re inclined, please bring your lose change or notes, and we’re just as happy to take notes.
Program’s are available from our Red Coat Front of House Volunteers.
We have 117 seats, all tiered so you get a great view from wherever you sit.
Row A is on the ground level with an ability to remove a number of seats for wheelchairs.
All other rows are via small steps.
