National Reconciliation Week: City of Melville
To mark National Reconciliation Week, the City of Melville is inviting residents and the wider community to ‘Be a Voice for Generations’ and join a week-long series of events and cultural experiences.
Happening from Thursday, 25 May to Friday, 2 June, the events highlight the shared histories, cultures, and achievements of First Nations peoples to explore how each of us can contribute to achieving reconciliation in Australia.
The City of Melville’s calendar is packed with events ranging from a Voices of Emerging Leader’s panel, Noongar singing workshops, children’s story time sessions focusing on books by First Nations authors, through to a cultural walk beginning at Dyoondalup Point Walter.
