Celebrate WA Day in style at a complimentary fashion runway spectacle that showcases the essence of First Nations culture at the Yagan Square Amphitheatre.

This extraordinary celebration will spotlight First Nations designers and models, alongside the Perth debut of a rising force in Australian hip-hop, JK-47.

Prepare to be inspired as the cream of First Nations designers unveil their latest collections, including Deadly Denim, Kirrikin, Ngalanag Moort, Kaninda, Linlelu, Kiera Gentle and Ticia Designs. Each will bring their unique fusion of Indigenous art and contemporary fashion to the forefront.

The fashion show will culminate in a grand finale performance by JK-47, a talented Indigenous rapper who has been making waves in the Australian music scene. Hailing from Tweed Heads, JK-47 won Triple J's Unearthed National Indigenous Music Awards competition in 2020, solidifying his status as a rising star.

While tickets are free, registration is essential. The event will proceed rain or shine, and cushion, or rug to sit on is recommended. Select garments and accessories from the designers will be available for purchase at market stalls during the event along with refreshments from Yagan Square eateries.

The event schedule includes a Smoking Ceremony and Welcome to Country at 1:00pm, followed by the fashion exhibition at 1:20pm, JK-47's performance at 2:30pm, and the finale at 3:30pm.
