<p>PCP is pleased to announce two upcoming exhibitions featuring artists from across WA:<em> Capturing Starlight </em>by Chloe Bartram, and <em>Exposure: New Voices in Australian Photography</em> by Mary-Lou Orliyarli Divili, Maria Fredericks, Nuriah Jadai, and Maria Maraltadj.</p>

Free admission, all welcome, refreshments available.<br />
The exhibitions continue from 11 March to 13 May 2023.</p>
<p><strong><em>Capturing Starlight &#8211; </em>Chloe Bartram</strong></p>
<p>Bartram&#8217;s solo exhibition, <em>Capturing Starlight</em>, draws on the visual and written language of light. The work features archival photography, fieldwork, and artefacts while exploring the tension between the photographic image as both art and historic evidence.</p>
<div><strong><span style="color: #000000;"><em>Exposure: New Voices in Australian Photography</em></span></strong></div>
<p lang="EN-US" xml:lang="EN-US"><em>New Voices in Australian Photography </em>reveals stories about First Nations People, by First Nations People. <strong>Mary-Lou Orliyarli Divili</strong>, <strong>Maria Fredericks</strong>, <strong>Nuriah Jadai</strong>, and <strong>Maria Maraltadj </strong>have each developed individual bodies of work, using this experience, their photography, and art practice to heal. The theme of healing flows delicately through each of the works, with personal stories exploring relationships to Country, others, and ourselves.</p>
<p lang="EN-US" xml:lang="EN-US">This exhibition is a culmination of an 18-month unique mentoring program created to provide skills development, and professional opportunities for emerging First Nations photographic artists.</p>
