Racing for the Perth City Criterium Championship, riders will take on the lightning quick 900m circuit in the heart of Northbridge. Railing corners through Lake, Francis and Shenton with the finishing straight on James, riders will compete for a share of $15,000 prizes and the title of Perth City Criterium Champion. Whether you’re racing or spectating, come on down to Northbridge and take part in an action-packed afternoon full of events.

  • Junior U15 & Junior U17 (20mins + 2 laps) – 1.45PM
  • C & D Grade Women (20mins + 2 laps) – 2.15PM
  • C & D Grade Men (20mins + 2 laps) – 2.45PM
  • B Grade Men (30 mins + 2 laps) – 3.15PM
  • Community Ride (Open) – (10 mins) 3.50PM
  • Elite & B Grade Women (30mins + 2 laps) – 4.10PM
  • Elite Men (45mins + 2 laps) – 4:55PM
Celebrate all things bikes at the Community Bike Festival as part of the Perth City Criterium Championship. The Community Bike Festival will be located along Parker Street from 01:30pm to 06:00pm. There will be a DJ, stalls, bike activities, ice cream, kids messy play and paint workshops, and more. Fun for the entire family! At 3:50pm, before our elite athletes take to the circuit, there will a chance for the whole community to ride, scoot or skate around the criterium course. On fully closed roads, experience the course that some of WA’s top cyclists will be racing around to be crown the Perth City Criterium Champion.
Freestyle Now will also be hosting FREE pop up BMX / Mountain bike jumping coaching session.

Session 3 – 3:30pm
Session 4 – 4:30pm
The workshop sessions would be open to any participant over the age of 6. Freestyle Now will be bringing their small coaching air bag jump for participants to use during the four 50 minute sessions. Participants in BMX and mountain bikes will be able to learn new tricks or get advice on tricks and gain new confidence levels but most of all everyone can have a stack of fun. These workshop sessions are more than just helping teach skills. These workshops are fun, informative and motivational.
