<p>The Perth Comedy Festival runs from 29 April &#8211; 15 May. The line-up features over 50 shows taking place upon the stages of the Regal Theatre (Subiaco), the Astor Theatre (Mt Lawley), the Rechabite (Northbridge) and Freo Social (Fremantle). The Festival welcomes a handful of international acts including David O&#8217;Doherty (IRE), Alfred Adriaan (RSA), The Dollop feat. Dave Anthony and Gareth Reynolds (USA) and Melanie Bracewell (NZ), performing alongside a long list of national and local treasures including Australia&#8217;s favourite metal loving iso cook and mental health advocate Nat&#8217;s What I Reckon, beloved drag queen Karen From Finance and medical doctor now turned self-described &#8220;Malaysia&#8217;s funniest comedian&#8221; Dr Jason Leong.</p>
<p>As usual, the Perth Comedy Festival presents two Gala&#8217;s at The Regal Theatre on Wednesday 4th and 11th of May, as well as showcases for our friends south of the river at Freo Social on Thursday 5th and 12th May. The popular late-night comedy show &#8211; The Biggest Comedy Show on Earth &#8211; runs at the Rechabite this year; it&#8217;s like speed dating with comedians and features a huge line-up of comics performing short and hilarious sets back-to-back Thursday 5th, Friday 6th, Saturday 7th, Thursday 12th and Friday 13th May.</p>
