Red Bull Foam Wreckers

Red Bull’s anti-surf-contest surf contest, Red Bull Foam Wreckers, is returning to Yallingup, WA on this Saturday 9th December.

The loves life competition, where only soft boards are allowed and anyone can participate, will see some of the most creative, amateur surfers take to the sand and surf. Registrations are open to surfers everywhere – secure your spot here.

Minimal rules and maximum fun, participants are encouraged to catch as many waves as they want and ride them however they’d like, the goal is to have more fun than everybody else. Boards and Wiiings provided! Prior to their heat, participants will spin the “Wheel of Shred” to determine which soft-board model they will hit the waves on. They’ll then paddle out with up to eight other participants on different soft-boards and proceed to stake their claim as the most unique soft-board surfer during 15-minute heats.

Judged by locals, participants will be scored on creativity, uniqueness and overall fun. You never know what our “professional” judges might be looking for, they all have their personal preferences that they’ll share before you paddle out.
