The silly season is rapidly coming upon us and while there’s no real official start date, why not mark the first weekend of November in your diary to really get the ball rolling? After a successful launch last year, Sola Festival returns to Elizabeth Quay from November 1-3, and it’s bringing some seriously good times.

The space will be transformed into a South American tropical oasis with Incan jungle theming, raised viewing decks, a world-class sound, lighting and LED system, Churras South American BBQ and The Tapi Truck dishing delicious meals, and of course refreshing cocktails aplenty.

In terms of events, Friday plays host to Perth’s biggest Halloween party, courtesy of RUSHMORE Events. Headlined by superstar Aussie dance artists Godlands and ODD MOB, there’ll be a $500 cash prize for best dressed to go with plenty of ghoulish delights. From there, the team at BarPop takeover Saturday 2 November with SNACK, fresh from their sold out party at The Court last month. And finally Happy’s will takeover Sunday, throwing a free party to wind things down (or up, of course).
