Join us for an interactive musical evening of Sonorous Ceramics and things on strings!

Experience the fusion of ceramic sounds and effected cello as Blue Studio's Artist-In-Residence, cellist Emily Williams, collaborates with Clay Make's owner and talented ceramicist, Andrea Vinkovic. Together, they have crafted a stunning array of ceramic chime instruments, pots, and bowls, each with its own unique sound, ready to embark on a musical odyssey.

On Friday, May 3rd, immerse yourself in the creative atmosphere as we invite you to play these extraordinary ceramic instruments, guided by Emily Williams through a her easy to follow graphic score. Let your imagination soar as we collectively compose a one-of-a-kind live performance, using our homemade mallets to conjure unique sounds from the studio's ceramic treasures.

After a short break, Emily Williams will perform her new musical work—a composition for ceramic pitched percussion and effected cello.

Concluding the evening, experience the harmonious synergy of new cello duo Sonder Lines in an uplifting duo performance of interweaving cello lines.
