South Side Symphony Orchestra's Power and Passion Performance
Be inspired by South Side Symphony Orchestra’s powerful and passionate performance on Sunday 2 April, as they take you on a journey of celebration, aggression, love, drama and tragedy. The Power and Passion performance will be brought to life by Acting Music Director Izaak Wesson featuring Shostakovich’s Festive Overture, Prokofiev’s Romeo and Juliet and Brahms’ Symphony No 1 performed at the South Perth Civic Centre the perfect setting for bold brass, sweeping strings, haunting woodwinds and crashing percussion.
Established in February 2011, the South Side Symphony Orchestra, is a non for profit, community ensemble based in Melville with over 50 enthusiastic, vibrant musicians from diverse backgrounds. What unites the orchestra is their passion for music and the pleasure they feel when sharing it with others. SSSO strives to bring innovative concerts in unique venues and has earnt a reputation of being the most community focused Orchestra in WA.
