‘squared-OFF’ - OFF-base Dance New Show
squared-OFF, a bold double bill of dance theatre that takes audiences on a profound journey through the cycles of life and transformation.
OFF-base Dance, under the visionary direction of Artistic Director Tyrone Earl Lraé Robinson, is set to premiere squared-OFF, a bold double bill of dance theatre that takes audiences on a profound journey through the cycles of life and transformation. Running from the 18th to the 22nd of September at Fridays Studio in Perth, squared-OFF features two full-length solo performances that explore themes of identity, mortality, and spiritual evolution.
In squared-OFF, Robinson presents two emotionally resonant works: Madre Muerte [“Mother Death”], performed by Robinson himself, and Acid Trip, performed by the acclaimed Bernadette Lewis. Each work offers a unique perspective on human existence, challenging audiences to reflect on life’s pivotal moments and the inevitable transitions that define our journeys.
