Tiny’s X Battles

On Wednesday 21 September, Battles Wine will be creating a ruckus at Tiny’s with a 4 course wine dinner hosted by Kris ‘Ambro’ Ambrozkiewicz, a sommelier and dedicated vinophile who possesses an impressively honed bank of wine knowledge from many years in the biz. When you think about the Best Shiraz in Australia, the Perth Hills may not be the first region that springs to mind, but with a mighty score of 96 points for their 2020 Granitis Shiraz, that is the title just bestowed on the winery in the 2023 Halliday Wine Companion. A hefty feat considering the Battles Wine label was only born in 2019.

The lovechild of Ambro and former Houghton winemaker Lance Parkin, the focus is on creating tiny runs of wine with ferocious attention to detail in honour of their fruits’ provenance – sourced from famed vineyard sites across Western Australia. Battles are crafting modern, hugely drinkable wines with real intrigue and interest.  With Ambro at the helm you’re sure to have a brilliant evening, sipping on Battle’s vibrant and fascinating wines paired with a four course feast of Tiny’s classics. Tickets are $80 per person | Bookings essential.
