Trash Classics are movie nights that pay special tribute to the era of VHS and DVD rentals.

A video store on the big screen that honours the maxim, “One person’s trash is another person’s treasure.” From “so bad it’s good” masterpieces to underappreciated cult movie classics, this program is a celebration of each and every movie. Please don’t mistake us: we love these movies! We hope that fans – both old and new – can join us for these one-night-only events. With an introduction to each movie including trivia questions, giveaway prizes, and pre-movie vintage trailers, Trash Classics is a celluloid night to treasure!

Follow the adventures of Wisconsin filmmaker Mark Borchardt and his loyal friend Mike Schank as they attempt to make the short film, Coven (pronounced “Co-ven”). This acclaimed indie documentary is not trash at all; its focus on the independent spirit of a working-class director out to make the horror movie of his dreams carries forth the cult spirit of a “Trash Classic”.
