Trash Classics: BARBARELLA

Based on the French comics, Barbarella is a sexy sci-fi space oddity from the swinging sixties starring Jane Fonda as the title character.

Aspace traveller and representative of United Earth, Barbarella travels the universe to find the scientist named Durand Durand and to stop a weapon that could destroy humanity.

With dazzling costumes, colourful sets and wacky special effects, the film also features a winning comedy performance from Fonda. Co-presented by Perth Comic Arts Festival.
