Trash Classics: HARD TARGET

Trash Classics are movie nights that pay special tribute to the era of VHS and DVD rentals. A video store on the big screen that honours the maxim, “One person’s trash is another person’s treasure.”

From “so bad it’s good” masterpieces to underappreciated cult movie classics, this program is a celebration of each and every movie. Please don’t mistake us: we love these movies! We hope that fans – both old and new – can join us for these one-night-only events. With an introduction to each movie including trivia questions, giveaway prizes, and pre-movie vintage trailers, Trash Classics is a celluloid night to treasure!

HARD TARGET (1993)

Jean-Claude Van Damme is a Cajun drifter with an impressive mullet, targeted by a secret network of wealthy people hunting poor people for sport! Don’t hunt what you can’t kill! The American debut of Hong Kong director John Woo (Hard Boiled, Face/Off), this is an over-the-top action classic of high-kicks, multiple explosions and symbolic pigeons.
