MORE INFO

Recognising NAIDOC Week, Central Park and the Waalitj Foundation have teamed up to debut a moving art exhibition that embodies history, culture, and spirituality: Waalitj Foundation Wangening Bardip (Healing Stories).

Free for all to enjoy, the exhibition showcases 11 independent First Nations artists to share their healing stories through their artwork. Each piece of art tells a story deeply rooted in the First Nations Peoples’ philosophy of life and connection to the land.

Artists displaying their works at the Waalitj Foundation Wangening Bardip exhibition include: Melissa Riley (Wadjuk Wardandi Waigi Keyp / Bunbury), Nikita Passmore (Wongutha Yamitiji / Midland), Erika Fernandez (Yamatji / Mapuche / Cockburn), Karthi Muir (Wongai Wongatha / Leonora), Sherena Bin Hitan (Bardi Jawi Yawuru / Broome) and Carol Martin OAM (Yamatji Naaguja and Noongar / Geraldton).

Discover stories of resilience, survival, and healing at this unique exhibition located in the Central Park Lobby.
