Wait Until Dark
Fremantle Performing Artists is proud to present Frederick Knott’s suspense filled thriller, Wait Until Dark at The Actors’ Hub, 129 Kensington St, East Perth. Nominated for a Tony Award in 1966 for best actress (Lee Remick), and later adapted for the screen, winning Audrey Hepburn an Academy Award and a Golden Globe Award for Best Actress, Wait Until Dark has often been revived due to its deep storyline and suspense-filled plot.
A recently blinded woman is terrorised by a trio of thugs while they search for a heroin-stuffed doll they believe is in her apartment. Director Brenton Foale, and the cast from Fremantle Performing Artists, present a stage production that will terrify audiences, having them jumping out of their seats. Its expert pacing and fearful setting make it a play you do not want to miss.
