WIND-UP BIRD

Presented by the Ad Lib Collective, Wind-Up Bird is a new collaboration between composers/synth-artists Josiah Padmanabham from Grievous Bodily Calm and Gazey, and award-winning Australian composer, James Ledger. Their music is a melting pot of jazz, classical and contemporary influences all blended into psychedelic electronic textures. This launch concert is the culmination of more than a year of development and exploration between two of Perth’s most interesting musical minds. This concert is supported by the Holmes à Court Gallery, and takes place amongst an exhibition by the First Nations artists of the Mangkaja Arts Centre.
