MORE INFO

It’s no secret that Gage Roads’ love of the ocean runs deep. The strip of water between Fremantle and Rottnest Island inspired their brewery, so protecting our oceans has always been part of who they are.

To celebrate our epic coast, they are stoked to be hosting another World Ocean Day at Gage Freo in partnership with the legends at WA World Ocean Day, bringing you an expert panel and information stalls, live music, and a special edition brew!

On the day, two panel discussions will focus on the challenges and opportunities ahead for our oceans, featuring Rebecca Prince-Ruiz (Plastic Free July), Dr Jordan Goetze (Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions), Dr Alan Jamieson (Minderoo-UWA Deep-Sea Research Centre) and more. Following the panels, the amazing Thornbird (featuring Vikki from the Waifs) will be up on-stage serving bluesy folk rock.

The ocean is where we work and play. It’s where we connect and unwind. So let’s not destroy what we all so enjoy.

Come join us at Gage Roads Freo on World Ocean Day and help us celebrate Big Blue!
