Qantas is trialling affordable airfares to Exmouth this coming high season!
Today Australian airline Qantas has revealed they have struck a deal with the State Government to slash high-season airfares to Exmouth during peak season. It’s apart of an effort to boost tourism to WA’s North West over the coming high season, with fares cut by $180, meaning a weekend swimming the whale sharks could be done for as little as $338 return.
According to The West, the cheaper fares will be available Friday to Monday, between June 7 and September 30, and it follows a similar trial last August for flights between Perth and Broome.
One of the main sticking points with us West Aussies about getting around and seeing our own state has been the cost of transport, and in particular flights, and it’s hoped that these cheaper flights will encourage people to perhaps head north over popular destinations like Bali.
The fares can be booked online from today, and if successful the trial will once again be expanded.
