As if WA’s Pilbara Region couldn’t get any more breathtaking, a new partnership between Karijini Eco Retreat and The Hike Collective is bringing guests the opportunity to see the region like they’ve never seen it before.

From April 2025 visitors to the retreat will be able to book guided hikes through the astonishing Karijini National Park as a part of their stay.

Crafted in consultation with Traditional Owners and members of the Gumala Aboriginal Corporation, tours are curated to fit the interests and abilities of guests.

The hikes aim to highlight the park’s iconic gorges, waterfalls, night skies, and trails, through guided tours that prioritise education, and connection with nature through sustainable tourism practices while emphasising accessibility.

Whether you’re a first-timer to the world of adventure tourism or a seasoned explorer there’s something on offer for you, with tours ranging from gentle sunset gorge hikes and stargazing, to exclusive multi-day trips into the lesser seen wilderness.

The Hike Collective’s expertise in adventure tourism and commitment to sustainability makes for the perfect pairing with Karijini Eco Retreat’s pledge to connect guests with nature, both working to offer guests a deeper connection to one of WA’s most extraordinary destinations.

The Hike Collective founder Kate Gibson said the collaboration will allow them to make nature more accessible while respecting the incredible cultural heritage and natural beauty of Karijini National Park.
