A new pick-your-own sunflower field is open this weekend in Boyup Brook
A local Boyup Brook artist has transformed one of her family’s sheep farm paddocks into a spectacular field of sunflowers – and it’s open to the public!
Open on select days (check the Facebook page for updates), visitors are welcome to take pictures amongst the sunflowers, and even to pick your own bucket of blooms for just $10.

The project is all thanks to Jennifer Goerling, who also owns Boyup Brook art studio The Joyful Little Art Space – who planted the seeds in October, two years after first dreaming up the idea.
As well as purchasing pick-your-own sunflowers from the field, Goerling has also been selling sunflower bouquets from her art space, as well as at local cafés and markets.
Located at 462 Boyup Brook Road North, Goerling recommends bringing your own bucket, garden snips and wearing boots and a hat. $10 entry is paid at the gate, so we’d also recommend bringing cash.
If you miss out, don’t worry – with the success of this year’s field, plans are already underway for next year’s sunflowers.
