Take another peek inside our fave Italian disco house with local jewellery label Mountain & Moon
Mamma mia! That’s just about all we can say when one of our favourite local jewellery labels teams up with the house that captured our hearts and minds so thoroughly back in 2022.
In case you somehow missed it, this iconic Vic Park mansion – which amongst our friends is referred to as the Italian disco house – caused a ruckus all over the world when it was listed for sale last year – and we couldn’t be more obsessed.
We’ve been able to take a brand new peek inside the legendary home with the launch of an stunning new collection from Perth jewellery label Mountain & Moon – whose pieces have been spotted on the likes of Dua Lipa, supermodel Winnie Harlow, The Hills alum Whitney Port and Kar-Jenner bestie Anastasia Karanikolaou.
Appropriately titled Primadonna, the collection continues the label’s unapologetically bold aesthetic – from perfectly layer-able gold chains and earrings that truly make a statement, to gem-encrusted rings just waiting to be stacked.
This is jewellery that screams romantic summers in Sicily – so the home’s opulent, maximalist Italian vibes are a match made in heaven.
“When we saw Villa Di Maria we knew it was the ideal location to shoot the campaign for our upcoming collection, Primadonna,” founders Audrey Allen and Ashton Cameron told us.
“The luxe and opulent architecture and details of the house provided the perfect backdrop to showcase our statement jewels, and the Italian history of the villa made it feel so special & completely aligned to our vision for Primadonna.”

Mountain & Moon also has a long-running partnership with the Saheli Women non-profit foundation, which provides economic opportunities for women in Bhikamkor in Rajasthan, India.
Primadonna will be launching in early June, so keep an eye on Mountain & Moon’s socials.
