Travel back in time with this fabulously pink Crawley beauty
Boy are we on a roll this week!
After falling in love with a gloriously maximalist Attadale gem just a few days ago… We’ve found another retro gem that we are swiftly becoming obsessed with – although this one’s a little more pretty in pink than full-blown technicolour onslaught.
33 Everett Street, Crawley is positioned rather enviably, nestled between UWA, Broadway and Pelican Point – in fact, the four bedroom home is only a five minute walk to the picturesque river and JH Abrahams Reserve.
Speaking of picturesque: we’re immediately drawn to the home’s filigreed gate, accented in powder blue and offsetting the rambling ivy and white brick rather sweetly.
Inside, the sweetness continues with soft pink walls and charming Art Deco features – like the geometric timber and glass doors that lead to the formal living room (or, as is staged here, additional bedroom!), feature cornices or ceiling rose.

At the heart of the home, a formal dining room is also decked out in a powdery pink – and if you ask us, we’d be negotiating for that excellent dining set too!
The adjoining kitchen is cosy yet functional, with more sweet details like that scalloped timber edging over the window… Plus that equally cosy breakfast nook: our minds are positively racing with its reno potential!
Linking the backyard to the rest of the home is a spacious living area, clad in more timber panels than you can shake a stick at. We’re particularly drawn to those square format tiles though, in what we’d describe as the perfect warm shade of brown. The potential!
Out the back, we’re daydreaming about cocktail parties and summer soirees, seeking shade under the elegant columned rotunda. That is, of course, if you can resist the draw of that mirrored bar bedecked in brown velvet… Shagadelic, baby!
