Holy moly! Check out this bonkers Attadale retro gem
Although we may be dreamers, we’re also realists.
So when we see a total retro gem like this one in Attadale, we know what’s likely to happen. But it’s the dreamer in us that can’t help but hope that someone – instead of reducing her to a pile of rubble – will appreciate her kitsch appeal and, ahem, natural beauty.
Positioned just one block back from the Attadale foreshore, things start out promisingly with a rather understated entry. The old girl just needs a pressure wash and a fresh lick of paint! A fresh set of roller blinds and she’ll be lookin’ like a Palm Springs socialite in no time.

Inside, we couldn’t be more obsessed with the vibrant green, blue and yellow kitchen – decked out in laminate and wallpaper as far as the eye can see! (Not to mention those rather trendy arches to frame the picture-perfect view.)
A spacious living room just needs a few velvet couches or a mid-century dining set to make it the perfect party hub – and we’re particularly in love with the continuation of the arches outside enclosing that tiled alfresco.
Plus, who can resist the combo of arched mirrors, marble-effect tile and bathroom cabinetry in the perfect shade of cobalt blue?
Things only get groovier in the laundry, with more archways and some bold, geometric wallpaper. In comparison, the living room’s mural seems practically minimalistic!
